4th of July 2009

4th of July was a great day!

We went to Jeff and Kim's for dinner. Kim and her cousin Cristi took down Kaz's flag from the new flag pole. What a perfect night!

Jeff's Aunt Pat came for a visit from Iowa this week too.

Kim's 40th birthday is in a week so she got a few presents. This one was from her cousin. She kissed the frog and Prince Charming appeared! Lucky her!

After several wrong numbers... we sang the National Anthem to Uncle Fred in South Carolina. Hope he enjoyed it! I know it was entertaining on our end!

Kim's nephew Aaron and his girlfriend Gigi. Aaron brought fireworks for the kids and Gigi did all the hair and make up for the kids' play. So fun!

The kids put on quite a play for the adults! This scene featured Cristi's daughter Abby and Lucas. Jack was the scene changer and added a "Du du du duuuuu" whenever there was a suspenseful moment! Ha!

The adults really got a kick out of it! It was a great night!

4th of July

With Paula, Jeff and family

We celebrated the 4th with Paula, Jeff, Trevor, Cora, and Chelin this year. They were in the Northwoods visiting Paula's parents and came for the day.

Jeff and Jeff had a blast on the rope swing trying to keep their butts out of the water. Unfortunately I lost those incriminating pictures! We'll look forward to more adventures on 4th of July, 2008!

4th of July

We had a great time for the 4th of July weekend! We rented a jet ski but all Kate wanted to do was fish. She had a brand new fishing pole with a bright orange fish that she caught everytime! She also got this nice bluegill with some assistance from the big hand in the foreground.

You can also see Jack's cast. It didn't slow him down at all and eventually had to be duct taped to stay together. He LOVED driving the jet ski all by himself and Jeff was even brave enough to tube behind him. Yes, that's Jeff on the tube!
